Travel eSIM guides
How long does a travel eSIM last?
Learn how eSIM validity, activation and data allowance affect the usable life of a travel plan.
Validity is plan-specific
The plan page states a validity period, such as 7 or 30 days. It is not the same as the amount of data: a plan can expire at the end of its validity even when data remains.
Know when the clock starts
Some plans start when installed; others start when they first connect to a supported network. Follow the instructions supplied with your order and do not assume every provider uses the same rule.
Plan for the whole trip
Choose a validity period that covers arrival through departure, allow for time-zone changes, and check whether top-ups are supported. Do not delete an installed eSIM unless support tells you to, because many QR codes can be installed only once.
