How to avoid O2 roaming charges

  1. Before you fly, install a travel eSIM at home on Wi-Fi.
  2. On landing, set mobile data to the eSIM and turn on data roaming for the eSIM only.
  3. Turn data roaming off for your O2 SIM so you aren’t charged a daily fee for background data. You can still receive calls and texts.
