Travel eSIM guides
eSIM activation fees explained
Understand activation fees, plan prices and possible carrier charges before you buy a travel eSIM.
Check the checkout total
Use the final checkout total—not a search snippet or an old advert—as the price reference. Review the included data, validity, coverage, currency, discounts and taxes before payment.
Separate plan and carrier charges
A travel eSIM plan and your home carrier bill are separate. Your carrier may charge for calls, texts or roaming if the home SIM remains active, so review its current tariff and phone settings.
Activation and top-ups
Whether activation starts on installation or first network use depends on the plan. Top-ups, where supported, are separate purchases. Keep the order email and follow the plan-specific instructions.
