    How much data do you need?

    Light use

    Maps, messages and email: about 0.5 GB a day.

    Regular use

    Social media, browsing and some video: about 1 GB a day.

    Heavy use

    Video, video calls or sharing data with a laptop: 2 GB a day or more, or a daily plan.

    How it works

    1. Check that your phone supports eSIM and is unlocked.
    2. Buy a plan and receive your QR code and setup instructions by email.
    3. Install the eSIM before you travel, then turn on data roaming for it when you arrive.

    Will an eSIM work on my phone?

    Your phone must support eSIM and be unlocked by your network. Check our compatibility page before you buy.

    When does my plan start?

    It depends on the plan. Read the plan details for its activation rules before you install it.

    Do I keep my usual number?

    Yes. These are data-only plans, so your usual SIM stays in your phone for calls and texts if you want it. WhatsApp and similar apps keep working over the eSIM’s data.

    Is it cheaper than roaming?

    Often, but it depends on your home network’s roaming terms. Compare the plan price with your network’s daily roaming charge.
