Does a zero spend cap block eSIM data?

Two bills, two caps
A zero spend cap sits on the home account. It is not a Graba SIM limit.
A zero spend cap on your home mobile account does not block data on a travel eSIM that you bought separately. The cap applies to charges the home network can put on that account, and only in the way their terms say. Some caps ignore roaming completely. Some block only certain kinds of charge. Ask the home network what a zero cap includes before you assume it stops every fee.
The short answer
Treat a zero spend cap as a rule for your home account, not as control over Graba SIM data. Read whether roaming is inside the cap. Keep the home SIM from doing billable things anyway.
Why This Matters
People see “zero cap” and think nothing can be charged. Then a roaming daily pass appears, because the cap never covered that product, or because registering alone was outside the cap.
What the cap can and cannot touch
Spend caps and bill limits live in the home network’s app. They may pause extra data at home, or they may leave roaming passes alone. A travel eSIM is billed by Graba SIM when you buy that plan. That does not pass through the home network’s cap. With a zero cap, you might see blocked charges on the statement. Or you might see nothing until a product the cap leaves out is charged. The only reliable source is the network’s own page for your plan.
Phone habits still matter
Do not assume the cap covers roaming
Marketing text often describes limits on home spending. Roaming daily products may sit in a separate section. Read the roaming paragraph, not only the cap slider.
Choose the travel eSIM for mobile data and turn data roaming on for that line only. Turn data roaming off for the home SIM, and turn cellular data switching off. A cap does not replace those switches. If the home SIM starts a session, the cap might block it or might not. Either way you do not want the attempt. A roaming bar is a stronger tool on the home account. Caps, bars and daily-pass opt-outs are all questions for the home network, on Wi-Fi before you fly.
The cap that was not for roaming
Jon sets a zero spend cap in the home app and installs a Europe travel eSIM for maps. On day two a home-network daily pass still appears. Support explains that roaming was left out of the cap. Graba SIM data worked as bought. Jon turns data roaming off on the home line and asks whether a roaming bar is on offer for the next trip.

Final Thoughts
